About

Round Valley County Water District (RVCWD), established by the State of California in 1953, is a publicly funded, local agency water district. The RVCWD operates with a board of directors consisting of five members elected by district residents, and holds monthly public board meetings. The RVCWD does not supply water to district members, but rather is a groundwater monitor and steward and operates as a storm water and flood control district. Since its founding, the district has organized and supported gravel removal projects, creek restoration, bank stabilization, riparian planting, and fencing projects. It also carries out groundwater management planning and ongoing well depth and water-quality monitoring in the district.
